I recently purchased the Alpinestars SMX Gore-Tex Boot for a ride across the California coastal highway. These were my first pair of sport boots, and they are very reliable. I've rode up to four hours using these boots and they remain comfortable. They are not very heavy, and they have a very nice amount of padding. In terms of style these boots are very cool looking, they are black and red and they go great with any sport bike. They are easy to remove also, using Velcro up the side of the boot and then a zipper. They also have a lack of laces which is great if you want to just jump on and ride. The high price might be a turn off for most people but I would definitely recommend these boots. With stellar quality and awesome performance these are definitely a winner in my eyes, just search around online for the best price.

These look like nice bike boots! I like the Velcro idea too. If they are comfortable, that's worth any amount.
