Snap Hooks By Rae777 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Snap hooks- I am always looking for ways to hang things up without driving nails into doors or walls. I also do not want to mar the paintwork on the walls so when I saw these hooks advertised I thought maybe I had found a great solution to this dilemma.

Snap Hooks work by suction. You simply press them against the surface and pull the hook down there by suctioning it to the wall or whatever surface you are working with. Snap hooks are advertised to work better than any other suction cup and even better than most adhesives. Supposedly you can paint these to match the surface although I have not tried that.

These hooks come 16 to a box. 8 of these hooks are about 2 3/4 inch in diameter and will hold 10 lb. of weight. The other eight hooks are smaller and measure 2 1/4 inches in diameter and hold about 5 lb. of weight.

I like these hooks although I will say they work only on very smooth nonporous surfaces. These can be used at home, school, office or outside if you have a smooth surface.

I have these hooks too and without even using super glue, it holds for so long. My hook must have been in our kitchen tile wall for a year now and it has recently fallen after that long! These are really handy at home...
