I treated myself to the movie named Twilight, supposedly about teenaged vampires and can i tell you, this was one of the worst movies that I have seen in my life. My niece would tend to say different as I asked her what did she like about the movie and her responce was simple...the guys were hot. I see now how the production companies plan to make their money, by appealing to the young audience by flashung man meat and woman meat. I even went as far as asking her what about the plot of the movie, and it was like she did not even watch the movie for any kind of story, as long as itwas dealing with the hot guy and it was a plus that they played vampires, so is satisfied with that alone. I on the other hand find that the lack of substance in this movie caused it to flop in my view. But you can go right ahead and watch o for yourselves and make your own judgement. I was totally disappointed that they went as far as saying that it was going to do better than the Harry Potter movies.

The books were way better. While it was not the worst movie I have ever seen, it was kind of low budget. I am hoping the next one will be better.

Love it!! My sister is a Twilight freak and I wanted to know why so I watched it and I was not impressed!
I find the movie plain.. yes the book is better but not impressed with the heroin. The good thing though is that I find it's 4th installment good hope I won't get disappointed when it becomes a movie.
I didn't like either one of them honestly. I've never read the books and the movies just were terrible! No plot, the girl who played...bella? Omg sucked! NO emotion at all! I suffered through them both one time and NEVER AGAIN!
Still haven't seen this yet but I guess I better see what all the buzz is about. Thanks for your slant on the movie!
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one of this opinion of Twilight. It is THE THING around here. I've yet to see the films. I read the first book and was too appalled to even try the film. I agree with what you said about how companies make money these days in film. Plot? What plot! :-)
