Soft But Effective By DRSpeech on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Sensodyne is a toothpaste intended to soothe sentsitive teeth and gums. It is dentist recommended to alieviate pain or tingling when eating and drinking hold and cold foods and liquids. The company claims that if using the product for two weeks it will desensitize your teeth to foods that may in the past cause pain. My dentist recommended it because I suffered from severe pain during my dental cleanings. I didn't notice any change from one dental cleaning to another; however I did notice that my ability to bite into Ice Cream without pain improved. The taste is pleasant, it is basically tasteless with a mild mint aftertaste. The tube is like most toothpastes, although if you have a flat surface you can stand it up so the past stays in the front of the tube.
