Solar Project Fun Kit Great For Children By dade on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

It is always a challenge trying to appease two sons, that are two years apart. When I get one son something, the other just as to have something too. Otherwise, I am not being fair?

I helped my oldest son purchase a product at RadioShack, online. My youngest boy was off at a friend's house, down the block, so I order something for him too.

I got Matt, the Solar Project Fun Kit, by RadioShack. The price was right. If Matt didn't want the solor kit, then I would use it and built a solar powered flashlight, that only works, when the sun is out.

Matt liked the solar project fun kit. It came with a booklet, listing a few projects he could start off doing right away.

The features are: a solar cell prewired at a DC motor, mini propeller, color wheels and the info booklet.

It was a good choice. Matt likes to tinker with things. Whenever he is bored, this kit is one of the things he starts playing with.

I really love science kits too! My son has always been a fan and they are so much fun to do together.
