These small twelve ounce bowls by the Solo Cup Company are pretty good for a small salad or ice cream. They are certainly not made for and cannot be used in the microwave so for hot food items you can forget about it. They are fairly sturdy for what they are.

Once again these are a really nice time saver item for folks who are on the run or have other pressing things to take care of besides washing alot of dishes. They do make a great little bowl for various desserts such as cheesecake, jello and fruit cocktails.

In reality I am not a real big fan of throw away items but I can really see how they have their place in life like other similar products. They are made of a white colored plastic with just a standard type design on them which is really nothing special. On occassion I have tried to wash them and they stand up rather well to that and can certainly be reused if one really wants to go that route. I have also taken them on hikes with my dog to give him some water as well. I also remember the solo cups product from years ago when I was growing up. It was a popular item back then. Once again a very nice product for those who wish to save themselves sometime.
