Some NERF Dart fun
By Mom2One onMost people know the name NERF for their soft balls.
Lately Nerf has been coming out with dart guns and other toys.
We brought our son the NERF Dart Tag Strikeforce 2 Player Dual System when we saw it on clearance for only $15. It was regular around $30.
We were not too sure if it would be worth it but it looked like a lot of fun.
It comes with 2 scoring vest
Vision goggles
Darts
2 dart guns
The vest are adjustable so they can be used for kids and adults a like.
The object is to load your dart gun with the darts and fire at the other person. The darts have velcro which make them stick to the vest. On the vest are different scoring areas, some areas are worth 10 points while others are worth 50.
My son and my husband play this game outside so they can run around and try to get away from the other. These darts go very far too. We seem to find a dart or two over the yard a few days later after they had been playing.
It is a very fun game and I even have been known to get in on the action.
Cons: The goggles are a joke. They don't seem to stay on my son's or even my husband's head. We have since thrown away the goggles since we don't use them. We have a rule about not aiming for the face, although I know accidents can happen. They darts are made of soft foam so I don't think the goggles are really needed
The last con is the gun only loads 6 darts at a time. It would be nice if it were larger so to hold more darts.
All in all though it is a lot of fun and I recommend it.

I see the neighbor boys and some friends playing with these next door. There are like 6 of them running around with these, and in summer, they squirt gun fight as well. This is a great toy.
Sounds like a lot of fun for the family.
