The Sonic Advance series concludes with Sonic Advance 3 for the Game Boy Advance. This time, Eggman has broken the world into seven parts with chaos control, and plans on turning each section into part of the Eggman Empire. Now, Sonic and his pals must race through these seven areas and free them from Eggman's clutches.

Don't let the halfway decent-sounding plot fool you. You wouldn't even know there was a plot without reading the instruction manual. The game plays like always: blast through the seven zones and beat Eggman down. Gather all of the chaos emeralds and take him down once and for all!

There's an interesting new feature in Sonic Advance 3; playing with any 2 characters from a lineup of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Cream. Each combination of characters leads to different gameplay styles. Personally, I'm a fan of Sonic and Cream, myself; not only can Sonic now breathe underwater, but he can also use a cool dashing technique. Check out all of the combinations available for interesting new gameplay.

Sonic Advance 3 is a fitting end to the Advance series, and a good game for Sonic fans to own.
