I have had this brush for well over a year now. Have had no cavities at all. Dentist says he likes the results and that is a big thing. Mouth feels very clean. Sonicare did a really nice job with this brush. You truly brush like a dentist with this one. If I ever purchase another brush I will once again get one from the Sonicare company. I have had other electric brushes but this one is far superior to the other ones I have tried. I have to say also that a charge lasts for an awful long time with this brush. I am really surprised at that. I only charge it as necessary. You certainly get a better cleaning by far than when you use a manual brush. Obviously it reaches places that other brushes miss. There are at present a few different models on the market of Sonicare brushes. There is one that allows you to replace the batteries and does cost less than the one i am reviewing. I also must speak for the durability of this item. I have had it for a while now and it is still going strong. The only downside i see to all of this is that the price is not cheap for these. Although mine was a gift to me I can see where the cost would be considered prohibitive for some. i have owned the Oral B brand ones as well but I feel this is a better made brush.
