I have used this battery for a couple of years with no problems in my Sony camcorder. I bought it to supplement the smaller battery that came with the camcorder. It has lasted up to two hours of recording time. I don't usually recharge it after short usage time, but when it shows on my camcorder screen that it is getting below half charged, then I make sure to charge it up so that it is always ready when I need it. This has always given me an accurate reading on my camera of the time left on the battery, so I don't get any surprises. Depending on how low the battery is, it sometimes takes me up to an hour to charge the battery. I am happy with the amount of life I have gotten out of this battery and it is still going strong.
