Sony 32 Trinitron Wega Television By Beth Kayhart on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Although I can't remember exactly what happened to our old TV, when it was time to purchase a new one, we went to Best Buy. We wanted something a little bigger than our old 27" TV, but also couldn't afford to spend a lot of money at the time. After looking at all of Best Buy's TVs, and taking a comparison look at Walmart, we decided on the Sony Trinitron Wega 32" flat screen. Now take note that this is not a flat panel TV. This is a flat screen. It does not have the curvature of the conventional, older style televisions that warp the picture at the edges. I thought it was a simple, neat little touch. We paid just over $600 for this TV. This was several years ago. These days, you can purchase an off-brand true flat panel TV for around the same price. We wanted to stick to a good name brand. Overall we have never had any problems with this TV. The picture quality is superior to our old TV. It is very clear. My son plays a lot of video games on it and the graphics show up great. The only downside to this TV is that it is large and extremely heavy. My husband and I together can barely lift it.
