The Sony 8MB Memory Card is the official memory card for the Playstation 2 console. This is an essential accessory for the Playstation 2, since every game that I know of requires a card to save the game data.

The official Sony card may seem very small, storage-wise, since it only has 8MB of flash memory, and there are a number of third-party cards that are quite a bit bigger. However, these cards last a long time, since saves are only a few hundred KB at the absolute maximum. Also, the third-party card have a habit of corrupting your save data, which this one won't do.

Another nice thing about this card is that it is ridiculously durable, and can survive just about any abuse. If you have a PS2, you have to have one of these cards.
