The Sony Cybershot DSC-S650 is an average point and shoot camera. It is good for taking regular pictures and capturing video but does not have the quality of other cameras. This camera has a large LCD viewfinder but lacks an optical viewfinder which in some cases is needed. The biggest flaw of this particular camera is the shutter lag. I have missed some great shots because of the lag time between depressing the shutter button and the camera actually taking the picture. I was disappointed with the maker of this camera when I experienced the flaw firsthand. This major flaw is what keeps me from wanting to recommend this camera to friends and family. I have learned my lesson and would definitely choose a different make and model in the future for point and shoot cameras.
