Sony Digital Handycam By elkper on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
This is a review of the Sony digital Handycam model DCR-DVD108 with a Carl Zeiss 40x optical zoom lens. This camera uses discs too save your video to. If you purchase the rewritable discs you can use them over and over again after you move the video to your computer or a regular DVD. The battery life does seem a little bit short. It lasts for about 45 minutes. The discs hold between 20 and 60 minutes of video depending on the quality you use for taking the video. The camera is very easy to use and you can either use the view finder or a screen while taking the video. The image and sound quality appears to be excellent. The camera is very light and only weighs about one or two pounds. It appears to be an excellent mid-price digital video camera, and so far my only complaint is about the battery life and the short amount of video that will fit on a disc.
