Sony Dynamic Stereo Headphones By ExplosiveAmnesia on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

The Sony MDR-V150 Dynamic Stereo Headphones are relatively inexpensive headphones purchased when looking for an alternative to the iPod-style earbuds. They are a standard over-the-head shape.

The sound quality on these headphones is quite good, especially after being used to cheap earbuds. You are immersed much more in the sound, and stereo channels are much easier to ditinguish than with earbuds or speakers.

The major drawback of these headphones is their lack of comfort. This is a problem that I seem to encounter with all over-the-head phones, but it seemed especially pronounced with this set. The band is overly tight, causing the earpads to smash down on the ears. This causes them to become sore very quickly. Just for this reason, I would not recommend buying there without first trying them on.
