I purchased this 42" Sony Grand Wega LCD Projection TV and I really love it.The picture quality is really beautiful.The high definition stations are really incredible to watch.The clarity is life like.It is so clear that you can actually see particles of dust around the actors while they were filming.The 42" screen is a perfect size for any room.I sit approximately 6-7 feet away and it is really quite enjoyable.I have an older 57" projection TV that does not compare to this LCD television.I would highly recommend the Sony brand for a television purchase.I have owned 3 Sony's and have had great luck with all of them.For anyone that is looking to purchase an LCD television, I would highly recommend this one.

This sounds like a great TV, we got a plasma and I liked the picture quality on out old projection one better.
We are looking for a new tv for our living room, we have a 35 inch RCA and everytime it goes to commercial it will blow you out of the room and the rest of our tv's are only 27 inch so we are stuck dealing with no smart sound until we buy a new one :(
We have owned a few Sony TVs and have never been disappointed.
Wow! You can see the dust particles around the actors?!?!? That is incredible! I have a 20" Sony Wega that is NOT HD that has a beautiful picture so I can only imagine what it would look like with HD.
I would love to have a big one like this but the price is a little out of our range for a long time! I would love to see something that shows up a picture that clear. Sounds like a great TV. Thanks for the information on it.
We have been looking (I should really say my husband has been looking and I just pretend to be interested) for one of these tv's. We are also lookin for a 42" which I think is just the right size. I'm glad this tv has worked out well for you and enjoy it!!

Sounds like a great TV. Can't afford one at the moment but I'll definitely keep this one on my wish list.
We have had great luck with Sony products as well--looks like a great television!
