Perfect size camcorder! 20x Optical zoom. Built in back light, easy setting, batt/info display. Large LCD touch screen. Nightshot Plus feature. You can record and edit right on the camcorder. You can also take stills. The battery holds it's charge for a long time and in general lasts a long time! I bought this to record a friend's wedding and it is crazy how great that video turned out. I do owe a lot of that though to the fact the wedding wasn't in a church, but a hall, and the lighting was brighter. I have found it doesn't record so well in low light, even with the built in back light. The mic is a bit low, it recorded the wedding vows, but I had to edit them to make them be strong on the DVD. For the price, it's a great camcorder. Easy to point and shoot and not miss important events. Just wish you didn't need as much light and the mic picked up a bit more!
