Sony MEX-DV1000 is multi disc player for your car. This player is really good and the sound clarity is too good when used with Sony speakers. Sony MEX-DV1000 supports majority of popular formats so that you can play them on the go. Some major formats are these Regarding audio formats it supports AAC, WMA, MP3 and audio discs. When it comes to video it supports VCD, DVD-video, DIVX formats. It also supports JPEG format. So that you can see your photos when you are on a journey. The inbuilt presets of the equalizers is also good. The Xplod equalizer is too good and sound clarity delivered is awesome. Apart from audio and video, you can listen to Radio. It has automatic Radio station saver which will save the frequency of that Radio station automatically. You can also do it manually. It also supports the playback of external devices through AUX jack with which you can connect your portable players and listen to songs without using audio cd's. It will be more convenient for you. Sony MEX DV-1000 is a good music player for your car. It lacks the advanced functions such as USB support which is offered in latest writers.

I had to read twice when I saw that it reads .jpg files. That's cool that you can play images too.
