The Sony PSP is a very versatile handheld video game system. However I would consider this system much more because with the addition of a large memory stick it can hold MP#'s as well as MP4's, making it a music/video player as well. The user also has the ability to connect wirelessly to the internet which may be of some concern to those that get this system for their kids. The game selection could be better but overall isnt bad. You can also purchase movies on UMD format so those long trips can be more manageable. The sound is decent for games but not so much for playing the mp3's, with the addition of headphones this problem is resolveable. Overall I would give this product a 4 out of 5 basically because you have to be a little careful with it because of the screen. Unlike the DS when it is not in use the screen is still fully exposed to danger.
