The Sony PSP is an extremely slick and handy device. It provides the consumer with an ultra portable, easy to use, gaming machine. Yes, machine. The PSP is in a class of its own when it comes to portable gaming. Previous handheld devices, such as Game Boy's, have been dismal is comparison to this monster.

The Screen resolution is exceptional. This makes it not only great to play games on, but watching movies too. The sound quality is much better than expected from the tiny speakers. No other handheld has been able to do this before. The PSP also has many new features such as; internet access (Wi-Fi permitting), a great internet browser, RSS feeds, storage of photos, a music player and downloadable content amongst others. The UMD disks do get a bit annoying but nothing to complain too much about.

The PSP has easy controls, even for those of us with large hands. The analog stick could have been a bit better laid out, but you can use the arrow keys instead. The array of games available for the PSP is not as varied as one would hope it to be, but with the new model coming soon (PSP Go) one would not be surprised to see an influx of new games.

This handheld gaming machine is highly recommended to anyone who wishes to play games on the go, watch movies, hold photos, listen to music and go on the internet and only wants one device.
