I produce and edit videos for websites. I mostly deal with audio in my work, so I needed a video editing software that was easy to use. I've used other media products from the Sony line, so I decided to try Sony's Vegas Movie Studio 8. I was very happy with this purchase.

Importing video, audio and images into the program for use in a project was simple to use. It offers the ability to add each element to the project, edit it and add special effects when desired. It's almost like I am 'painting' with my mouse when I add each item. Each media element added has it's own line. This makes it easy for me to match each of them up against each other as easy as clicking and dragging with the mouse.

It helps to have some kind of computer and media background to use this program, but it is certainly learnable. One thing I would have liked would be if they could make the 'burn to DVD' feature easier to use.
