SORRY - The game of sweet revenge
By rose33oo onOh yes, a wonderful game from my childhood. Now my kids enjoy it just like I did. I even play it with them now. This is a fun family game. It is something that kids can learn from as well. My kids learned to play it when they were about 4 and 5.
The game consists of 4 pieces, all of which are different colors. You have red, yellow, green, and blue. You draw cards and move your pieces around the board trying to get your pieces safely to Home. There are special things that you can do with certain numbers. For instance, a 7 can either be used as a 7 or it can be split into 2 plays. You also have a safe zone that, once you are in, you can't be taken out of the game. How can you be taken out of the game you ask?! With a SORRY card, of course. If you have pieces in your start and you get a SORRY card you can then replace your piece with anyone on the board and send them back to start!!!
The only downfall, which isn't the game, is that my kids get mad and compete over who's going to, and not going to, take who out!! It's cute when they put that sad face on and say "Mommy don't take my piece."
A fun family game that you must have. Your kids will play over and over again, with or without you!!

Such a classic, and one of the few games our family of mixed abilities can play together and enjoy!
You hit the nail on the head, this is definately a fun family game that everyone can enjoy...heck my husband and I even play it against each other without the kids (or kid in our case)
