Soul Calibur IV, created by Namco, is one of today's top fighting games. There is a lot of freedom in this game to create characters, and set up different types of skills. Players can purchase new weapons and armour for the characters they make. A new feature in this game is the ability to manipulate the weight and amount of muscles on a character. Although this is not an important addition, it does make for good entertainment and some laughs. A great new feature that many Soul Calibur fans might have been waiting for, is the ability to play online. Players can compete against friends, families, or strangers in the online gaming world. When it comes to custom characters, the only downfall is that players can not change the actual looks or dimensions of the face. This possible feature would most likely bring in more fans. Disagreements about the Star Wars story in the game are evident. However, it is not everyday that players get to play as Darth Vader or Yoda against characters like Voldo and Taki. Even with its few setbacks, this game will entertain the average gamer.
