Sound Shattering Sound By maximum on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is the first album released by Gyroscope on a major record label. In doing so it doesn't fail to produce an excellent sound. It is a grunge/rock album, but with a mix of Australian in it. it gives an Australian version of grunge/rock. This album is the heaviest of all the albums that Gyroscope has released. There are a few softer songs through out the album that give you a break from the heavier grungy sound to the rest of the album. You can hear the Australian accent in the singer's voice, but it is good and gives them a different sound to other post-grunge bands. Most of the songs have a lighter verses and heavier choruses. Even though this is featured in many of their songs it doesn't become boring because they are able to use it in so many ways. The change it enough to give it a different sound and follow it by a different things each time. This album is definitely worth buying if you are interested in Aussie rock.
