Sound & Vision bills itself as "the consumer electronics authority" and they're pretty spot on with that assessment. Now, most people don't buy a new HDTV, speaker setup, or A/V receiver every month but if you're looking into what's new and what to buy and how to install it, Sound & Vision is where I'd recommend you do some research first. The reviews and how-to's in the magazine are first rate and unbiased, just what you need to make a decision before you go blowing that chunk of cash.
The cover article in one issue, "VIP Room: How To Design The Perfect Home Theater" really got my juices flowing and definitely got my fingers itching to start a new project! I've no doubt most people into Home Electronics, even casually, will love flipping through an issue or two, if only to drool over the upcoming products the magazine previews.
