Soups, Stews, Chilis Recipe Cards By Cyn Bagley on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This small magazine about the size of a Reader's Digest was sent with an RD when I was subscribed to it. I am always interested in good recipes for soups, stews, and/or chili, but since I cannot eat too much salt or processed foods, this book is not for me.

It uses processed soups (like cambells, etc.) and processed potatoes to make some really tasty soups. If you are not a really good cook, or don't have much time to cook, this magazine with several recipe cards would be good for you. Personally, I make my soups, etc from scratch.

There is quite a wide variety of soups in this magazine. There is a tortellini soup, black squash soup, Kielbasa cabbage stew, and Firehouse chili. Plus it has some slow cooker recipes.

There are over 50 recipes from the book. I hate to say it, but I didn't have the energy to count each one. The pictures are pretty, the recipe cards can be pulled from the book. But, once again I am into using fresh vegetables and meat for my soups. Using processed food is not my cooking style.
