Sour Graveyard Apples By fudgepineapples on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have only tried a small sample of this scrub, so my opinions may be based solely upon first impressions, but I can't see my opinion of this scent changing too much. In the tub, the scrub looks lovely and bright green and enticing. It looked great, and I tried to like it. But when opened, it smells too much like apples. it smells like you are buried in a barrel of apples, and you can;t escape. And it smells like just a few of them are going bad. The apple note is sour, kind of like Granny Smith apples. And if you have ever smelled the display of them in the grocery store, you'll know that the smell is more than a little odd. And strong. So I suppose that really, this scent is bang on for smelling like tons of apples, but that's not really a good thing. I hope a better apple scent will be made by Isle of Eden, as the scent has potential, but it's just not there yet.
