Southwest Airlines
By tinkerbell onWe have been using Southwest Airlines for the past few years.We have been pretty happy with the service and will continue to travel with them.
Some of the PROS:
Ease of booking online, good sales, DING program, 24 hour online check-in, and best of all, Southwest gives us the ability to change and cancel flights numerous times with no penalty and it can all be done online. Southwest allows you to store unused flight credits that you accumulate through their DING program and use them at a later date.
Some of the CONS:
When you arrive at the airport, many people sit on the floor in the A,B, and C lines, as boarding is first come first serve. I do hear they are changing this policy and will go by number, so this is great news. We will actually be able to sit on chairs while waiting. Another con: Preboarding of families with small children in Orlando fills up most of the front of the plane as lots of little children go to Disney World. Southwest is also apparently changing the preboard policy as well and having the pre-boards board the plane between the A & B pass customers, so that seems fair to all.
Southwest is the most user friendly airline I have ever dealt with as far as arranging your flights. I hope they continue to listen to their customers. Thanks!
