Spa for my piggy's...
By loveonce1 onI love pedicures for the simple fact that you can let your feet soak for a full hour and they get pampered. I asked for this for christmas one year and ofcourse Santa brought it for me. I could barely contain myself when I got it because then I was working as a bartender and I would be on my feet for long hours. The day after Christmas I decided to put it to the test.
I thought that it was very relaxing, but I don't think that it really lived up to its name. It has a heating element that is supposed to keep the water warm, but I don't think it really worked all that well. I ended up putting in really hot water and then the heating element just maintained it. It also had a massaging unit on it. Really all I thought it did was vibrate it.
I also bought some foot spa bath that made it fizzle. I think that my favorite part. All-in-all it really wasn't that bad. I think the worst part was after your feet were all clean and relaxed, you had to dump the water. It can be heavy when it's full of water so make sure you have tile or hardwood floors.
I am not sure how much these are, but I personally would not pay nore the $15-$20 for it.

Oh my! I'm laughing because it sounds like you would have been better off using a bucket and adding your fizzy foot bath in it instead. I think these products want to be like spa quality, but they really can't. I love to do foot soaks but I use a plastic tub. It's much easier than trying to empty some big heavy piece of equipment. Good that you got it as a gift! Too bad it wasn't what you expected.
Maybe you could look up the price on line and post it in an update? Yeah, a plastic dishpan would be cheaper, right!
What a relaxing treat. I usually get a massage weekyly to relax me from all the stress from work. Sometimes, we have to pamper ourselves a bit.
Too bad the heating element didnt' work better, I'd hate to have my relaxing soak cut short by my water cooling down!
I have heard a lot of people say that they all take forever to heat the water, so your way of doing it was really wise! I love your title~
Doesn't that just beat all...you're ready for a relaxing pedicure & the water doesn't get to the temperature you want it to be....(I love your title too!)
Good information for anyone getting ready to buy one of these because it sounds like the company needs to improve upon this.
good to get the word out on this, thanks
sorry it wasn't quite as good as you thought it would be. That is always a bummer.
