Spa Massage For Sore Back Muscles By Mia Blaisdell on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I've been having a lot of lower back pain which has made it very difficult to walk, stand or sit for very long. I've tried propping up with regular pillows but that doesn't seem to help too much and it does work out well for my computer chair. So, when I found this Spa Massage contoured lumbar massage pillow at Walmart, I figured I'd give it a try. It cost $15.00 and is designed to support and massage the lumbar area of the back. There is a switch on the side to turn it on and off and it takes 2 AA batteries.(not included). It's very light weight and perfect for moving from room to room or even taking in the car or on a plane. From what I saw on the shelves there was 3 colors available, light blue, white, and black. I opted for the black one because it simply doesn't show dirt like the lighter fabrics do, which is great if I'm taking it in the car with me.The plush cover is removable and washable and the interior is made of soft contoured memory foam. The massage only has one setting and it's a mild/medium gentle massage, which feels pretty good and does help make sitting for longer periods a bit more bearable. So whether you have back problems like I do, or not, this is really a excellent and affordable way to help pamper your back at home or on the go.
