I got a space heater in an effort to suport my trying to save money since I was a poor college student. We turned our heat way down to the piont where it was nearly unbearable, or maybe I'm just a whimp! But anyways, I can't sleep in the cold like that, so I kept this space heater in my room.

It works well as far as heating the place up, but the noice is so loud and irritating I would be canstantly going back and forth being bothered by the cold then being bothered by the noise. Also the temperature control isn't very efficient. It seemed like it would either be nothing or extremely hot. Also if I kept it on when I went to sleep, I would wake up and feel like I was in a steam room. That's where the temperature setter apparently wasn't so efficient.
