Reviewing: Lasko Ceramic Tower Heater
Purchased at: Wal Mart     Price: $29.99 USD

This is our first year living in the Pacific Northwest. We live in a large, two-story house and were having trouble keeping warm, even with the furnace running almost constantly. So, we decided to add a couple of space heaters to cut down our electric bill and to help us stay warm. The Lasko space-saving ceramic tower heater with oscillation (model 5367) is the one we use to keep the chill out of the air in the master bedroom. It definitely gets the job done.We turn it on about an hour before we retire for the night, shut the bedroom door, and let it warm up the room. When we go to bed, it's nice and warm, and we turn it down low for the night. We have used it for only a few nights, so we do not yet know what our savings will be on the electric bill, but I have a feeling this going to work in our favor.(We also have a larger space heater for our living area, I'll review that at another time).I've hardly heard the furnace kick on, and we've turned the thermostat down 2 degrees. The only negative thing I can say is the heater doesn't have a wide oscillation range, but for our needs that doesn't really matter. We have it sitting on a short dresser, and it really heats up the room nicely.

I know what you mean having a big space too heat, my living area is quite big and I have trouble heating it, this heater would be absolutely perfect!

We have a similar model for our master bathroom - it's not a large room, but wall to wall tile. The floors get pretty chilly and heater does a wonderful job of keeping to the room warm and comfy. Most especially appreciated after exiting the shower or tub! I would recommend it as well.
