Reviewing: Wal Mart White Wooden Spacesaver
Purchased at: Wal Mart     Price: $59.97 USD

We have a Jack and Jill bathroom in our house that is divided into 3 separate sections. The middle section is where the toilet and the bathtub are and in this section there is no cabinet or storage space. We needed a place to put things in there like soaps, extra toilet paper and other little things so we decided we needed an over the toilet cabinet also called a spacesaver in there.

We looked at several stores for one that we liked and was affordable. We knew we wanted a wooden one and we wanted it to be white. We found one that fit all those needs at Walmart.

This is a free standing unit that fits over the top and the back of the toilet. If your floors are uneven like ours or you just want to make sure it's not going to topple over, it comes with a strap that can be mounted on the back of the unit and then secured into the wall. The unit has legs that go down both sides of the toilet and the bottom of the cabinet sits about 4 inches above the toilet tank. This gives you plenty of room to remove the tank top if you need to get in there without having to move the cabinet. Above that there is an open shelf that has about 6 inches of clearance to the top. I have a tissue box on ours and the kids have no problems being able to pull out tissues without hitting the top. The unit then has 2 doors so you can keep more personal type items out of sight. This space is about 12 inches high. My biggest complaint about the unit is that I would have really liked them to have added a shelf in here so you would have 2 smaller more usable spaces rather than one large open space. Over the doors is one more more area with an open storage self this space is also about 6 inches high. They have finished the sides of the cabinet with decorative trim and brushed nickel hardware on the doors.

The unit is truly a spacesaver and holds lots of items needed in the bathroom. It has held up well under all the heat and humidity of this part of the room. The toilet sits on a large blank wall and the unit has now given the space some height, texture and improved the look of the room as well as being functional too.

I love these spacesavers that go over the toilets! Our bathroom is too small for one now (by just 2 inches!) and I really miss having one.

That is really a nice looking cabinet. I can see many uses for something so stylish.

This spacesaver looks great! I love the detailing. It actually looks like it costs much more than $59, great deal!

This looks very nice, but no shelf behind the doors? Were they thinking towels? Odd.
