Spackle That Is Not For Walls Part Deux By Chocollette on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I have to admit that in the last five years, I have become a self-proclaimed makeup and skin care junkie and when I saw that on QVC Laura Geller had a new under makeup primer, I was on it! I use her original primer called Spackle and it is the only primer that does not break me out so of COURSE I had to see what the tinted primer was what it claimed it would be!
For the men reading this review, I do not want to mislead you when I say Spackle because this is definitely NOT for walls but it has the same concept as when you do prime a wall. An under makeup primer creates a barrier and sits on top of your wrinkles (of course, nobody on this site has wrinkles-wink, wink!) and it makes a smooth surface for your foundation. A primer also protects the integrity of your color as it is your true color of foundation/makeup that will be sit on top of the primer. Some will also find that when wearing a primer, you might not have to wear as much makeup which has been the case for me.
The color of this primer is a light brown leaning toward a beige color. I thought at first that the color would be too light for me but once I put it on, it blended beautifully and could act as a tinted moisturizer for me. I like having the option of only wearing the primer or putting on a full face of foundation but I think in the summer months, I will just wear the primer.
A little bit truly goes a long way as you only need about a pea sized amount for your face and neck areas. My husband says that I have a candlelit glow when I wear this so this product so this definitely gets two thumbs up from me!
Laura Geller Tinted under makeup primer in bronze Purchased at: QVC Price: $21.50

Chocollette you totally know that you soooo don't need this stuff! You are absolutely beautiful!
Wrinkles? I don't have wrinkles :) I think this sounds lovely. I bet it would make your skin glow like it was moist. I have to check this out. This is the second product like this I have seen in the last few days. I want glowing skin too !
Wrinkles? Lines? hmm no one here qualifies LOL! But this does sound very very good for giving us ladies a bit of help with brightening up tired ashy skin Chocolette. I'll have to try and snag some on QVC, next time they have their beauty segments.
