Spalding TF-1000 Basketball
By k0b3x onThis is the BEST basketball you can buy that isn't the real NBA game ball, it's that simple. I have been playing basketball for many years now and I can say that this is the best indoor ball around. It provides a consistent bounce and great feel and with about 4 months use shows no signs of wearing down. It is very simple to add or take out air. The ballhas 30% deeper grooves for improved grip and feel on shots and I can say that it does feel better with this deeper grooves. The ball feels almost identical to the official leather ball as this composite ball is second to none when it comes to indoor balls. Some may say that it is a little too "slippery" but that is only said by people who are used to the rubber balls for outdoor play. If you want the best basketball that is not the official nba game ball for gym use, this is what you want. You will not be dissappointed.

Great information and well put together. Thanks
We have enjoyed the quality we have gotten from all our Spalding equiptment.
good information for people looking for buy one of these.
Hmmmm. And here I thought a ball was a ball. Well, for my 8 year old son, it probably is:0) So it will be a few more years (I hope) before he realizes that the $4.00 basketball I bought is not the same as your $37 ball. Good to know for future reference...thanks.
This sounds like a great basketball. Spalding has always made quality products. If I were to purchase one for a family member, it would be Spalding.
I had no idea there could be such a difference in basketballs.
We have had plenty of Spalding products in our home, they are good quality.
We bought this one for our youngest son, as he is very into basketball. At 6'5 he ought to be:) He wanted one with a better indoor grip, as the one he had been using would get too slippery when he would sweat during really active play. Spalding is simply top of the line when it comes to many sports.
thanks for the information. i might buy it.
