Spalding ZiO Excel Basketball

The Spalding Zi/O Excel Basketball is a ball that can be used for both indoors and outdoor play. I actually bought this ball primarily for indoor use and it was a very good ball to use. I eventually switched out to the TF-1000 because that ball is made for only indoor use, but if you are looking for a ball that can easily play on both kinds of surfaces than this may be worth your look. This ball is not as high priced as some of the other ones on the market today yet it still outperforms most balls. It has the deeper grooves which most player prefer for better handling and feel on jump shots. The ball has a very good grip at first, but that may tend to wear down with prolonged outdoor use. I would consider it a "tweener" ball because it does not have the grip or feel to be an excellent indoor ball and it is too nice to be used outdoors. Either way, if you want a solid ball that can be played indoor or out, check this out for its performance and price.
