Special Sentiments

This is a Valentine's Day card from my mom. I like this card because it doesn't have a major pink and red theme, like so many Valentine cards have. This one has shades of purple, which seems to be unique for the holiday. There is a bit of pink, but it's more of an accent.

Purple is my favorite color, so that's another reason I like the card. I like the extras on here, like the ribbon attached at the top with the iridescent beads (One is bluish and the other is an opalescent lavender). I also love the glitter on the hearts and starbursts. It's such a pretty, grape shade.

The printed message is a little sappy, but it's nice for a card from mother to daughter. It is very appropriate. On the outside, it says, "Daughter, The only thing more magical than a day dedicated totally to love..." On the inside, it says, "...is having a wonderful daughter like you." Aww, so sweet. Reading it now gives me a heartwarming feeling.
