Speed Cleaning By May Monten on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is a book that is supposed to teach a system of cleaning "for people who have much better things to do." It's written by members of a professional housecleaning service company. The idea is to approach cleaning in a systematic way, on working as efficently as possible in order to get the work done fast. And they do mean fast -- they claim they can teach you to clean a bathroom in 12 minutes.

There's a lot of emphasis on having the right tools, on going around a room only once, and on doing only what is required to get the job done.

The book is fun to read and it has a lot of wonderful line drawings. I don't think I've ever actually used any of the ideas it contains, though.

Wonder how many times I could clean the bathroom in the time it takes to read the book? :-)

Sounds like a great way to distract yourself from cleaning. That has to be a bonus at least!
