Speedo Anti-Fog Soloution
By Doc007 onWe bought Snorkelling equipment for the youngest daughter and myself for our cruise (see my cruise review :). We thought it would work out cheaper in the long run than renting. I saw this so called anti-fog soloution next to the snorkelling equipment so I thought I'd pick up a bottle.
For me the soloution is a waste of time and money, it just didnt do what it said on the bottle, both our masks were fogging up and the daughter started to complain..so I had to show her the old fashioned way..spitting onto the lens and washing it in the water..which she thought was disgusting, but worked much better than the anti-fog soloution.
The directions say you have to spray the lens, rinse out and let dry..try telling a thirteen year old that she has to wait to go snorkel because her mask has to dry! I tried different variations of amounts of spray, time which I rinsed, and time to dry, none of which worked like it should. I didn't research this buy it was just a spur of the moment buy..something I don't usually do..I learned my lesson...yet again. I'm sure their are anti-fog soloutions on the market which do what they are supposed to do but for me this wasn't one of them.

Darn these money making gimmicks.
You'd of thought with a big name like speedo it would be a quality item, but your right it seems like a gimmick.
good review
I was thinking the same thing, the old fashioned way of spitting into your mask or goggles seems to be the tried and true only way. I also hate doing it, but it works, so don't fix it. Good review.
