I was in Sam's Club about a week ago buying some supplies for our upcoming trip to the beach when I saw this pair of shoes on the clearance shelf. It was the only pair there and it was my size so I took that as a sign that I was meant to have them! They are an "all terrain" type shoe that slips on and has elastic laces across the top that don't tie. I think they might be perfect for the beach as the sand and salt water won't hurt them and they will protect my feet from the shells and hot sand. I rated them just a tad low because I slipped them on one day to wear on an errand and break them in and they seem to rub a bit on my heels. I'm hoping that it's just because they are new and that after a day in the sand and surf that they will break in nicely!
