When my daughter joined the neighborhood swim team, she had to purchase a pair of Speedo Woman's Vanquisher Goggles as part of her equipment.

According to the package, these are classified as competition quality goggles. From the looks and feel of them they seem to be very well made compared to the cheap ones we have always purchased in the past. The part around the lenses and the strap are made of silicone and the lenses are a fog free, shatter free polycarbonate with a mirrored finish. It came with 3 different nose pieces which I had never seen in a pair of goggles before so we could pick the one that was most comfortable for her and gave her the tightest fit.

She had never been a fan of wearing any kind of goggles or mask before because she always had leaks, fogging and complained that they pulled her hair and hurt. These she said were very comfortable and since we matched the right nose piece to her face, she had no problems with leaks. She had to wear a swim cap so that eliminated the hair problem as well.

My daughter is famous for breaking things but to my surprise, they made it through the whole season intact. I can understand why the swim team choose these as their goggles of choice.
