As a mother to two small children, nothing pains me worse than one of them waking up in the middle of the night sick. You can take temperature all three ways with this handy little thermometer: Under the arm (12-15 seconds), under the tongue (10-12 seconds), or rectally (8-10 seconds) for those who choose that unpleasant route!
It also feature a very large color display that doesn't require a magnifying glass, high beam flashlight and reading glasses to see! The color coded backlit screen changes colors depending on the readout: Green if no fever, yellow when the temperature is slightly elevated and a red alert for a high fever. A great feature for those late night call of duty fever checks!

We were having such a hard time getting an accurate temp on my little one. We tried the 3 themometers we had and all didnt work correctly. So we went and got this as well. So far I like it. It is the only one that will show he has a fever when I know he does.

I love that this thermometer is waterproof! Since you can wash it you can save money not having to buy the slip covers.
