Because I live in the south we experience warm weather most of the year. While you can't use water toys year round when the weather is warm enough you'll be glad that you own them. This summer was a scorcher and my children were so happy when their favorite aunt bought them the Spiderman Slip and Slide.
The Spiderman Slip and Slide is similar to the slip in slides of the early 1980's. This slide comes with the famous yellow plastic "waterway" and a new addition, a 3-D Spiderman that squirts water out of his wrists.
This slide is a full 18 feet long and my children had the time of their lives running full force down the front lawn and throwing themselves down on to the thin piece of yellow plastic. A nice bonus is that the water pools at the end by Spiderman. When my children grew tired of running and sliding they would sit in the pool of water and splash one another.

We live in the south too and have a very long summer season to play outside. We saw the spiderman slip and slide last year and thought about getting it but passed. It sounds like you actually liked it so I was a little concerned about your overall score of only 3.8. I guess we will have to take another look at it this year if they release it again.
