Spiderman Walkie Talkie

My nephew just had his birthday in January and i bought him these spiderman walkie talkies. He always saw them in the store and asked me for weeks for them. The price wasn't that bad for two walkie talkies and it seemed that they were good quality. When you go toturn on the switch however all you hear is the background noise with static. on the box it said the the right arm of spiderman is an antenna but that didn't seem to do much of a difference. I felt so bad that he didn't get to enjoy them i even exchanged them for a new pair but that didn't help neither.
Now those walkie talkies are no where to be found he doesn't even play with them anymore. It was such a waste of money.
I do not recommend these walkie talkies to buy for any kid only if they want to just play with them like regular action figures and not walkie talkies.
That's too bad. Thanks for sharing so others don't waste their money on them.

Too bad they didn't work well. It must have been disappointing for your son. I have heard these type of products don't work well, they are more for the character than anything else.
Good warning. We got a brand name pair of walkie talkies at Christmas and they did not impress me much.
That is the worst when a child wants a toy so badly and it doesn't work at all. thanks for the warning.
Aww, so sorry these were a big disappointment. It's sad that usually children's products are very lacking when it comes to things like this. Thanks for letting us know about this product.
What a bummer that these didn't work - sounds like they were more for play than to actually function.
Thank you for this--my son is a huge Spiderman fan and this would be something that I would buy for him. Now I will know better...
