Christmas was coming and I was looking for something unique for my little grandson to play with. I looked at the regular aquadoodles, I wanted more. I saw this in the Spinmaster Thomas & Friends Aquadoodle. Spinmaster was way ahead with their new technology in this toy.

This toy absolutely amazed both my husband and I. At first I thought it was a little pricey but after viewing what it can do, I realized why it cost that much. I took the wheel tracker which I filled with water and made a track on the mat. Then I put the train down on the mat. To my amazement, the train followed the tracks which I had just made. I couldn't believe my eyes! Technology has truly come alive with this set!

I bought this for my nineteen month old grandson and he absolutely loves it. He is a Thomas fan so he loves anything Thomas but this toy kept him occupied for quite some time. I helped him make the tracks with the special and he watched the train go around and around. He too was excited! We also had so much fun drawing other shapes and just doodling. I now need to get a few other shape makers that is made for this mat.

Just how does this toy work you may ask? There is heavy duty mat which you lay down on the floor or tabletop. You have two applicators which you fill up with water. There is the pen tipped applicator and there is the Thomas train which follows the pathI talked about before which you stamp down with another water roller. It is quite hard to get the crease out of the mat but the train does follow the path for the most part. There is no mess with many hours of fun! Yes, I had no messy paint or water spills when we played with this toy.

I would highly recommend this aquadoodle to anyone with little children not just Thomas fans. You can do so much with it. I loved making the train tracks and watching my grandson get excited when the train went around but you can also practice early handwriting, shapes, and so much more. I will definitely buy this for my other grandchildren when they come around! I believe that it was worth every penney spent.
