Spinning Out Of Control By Jackson5 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I was in need of a hand mixer on a last moment baking assignment. I went to the local Wal-Mart (already a 40 minute drive) to pick one up. There wasn't much of a choice so I went with the Durabrand one. BIG mistake!

It says there are five speeds which I thought was great UNTIL I opened it and went to use it for the first time. The speeds they have listed on the box along with the manual inside are: blend, stir, mix, beat, and whip. Actual speeds? Fast, Faster, Faster Yet, Awful Fast, and Get Ready To Clean Up Your Batter Off The Ceiling Fast

I can't even give an actual rating as to construction (other than sucky speeds) nor durability as the hunk o junk is sitting in it's box.

This stupid hunk of crap got packaged up and is sitting in the box waiting for my next trip back to Wal-Mart to return it. Even for $8 it's not worth it!
