Spirit Airlines Could Do Better By buckeyefan32 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I was recently on a flight to Fort Myers flying Spirit Air, which I usually fly, but haven't flown in a while and was astonished on what a bad deal it was. Now, this isn't everything, but I'm mainly talking about seat space, service on flight, and seat comfortablility. I'll start with the negatives. These seats are really tiny, and I'm not talking about the size of the seat itself, but the area above the seat and leg space. For example, even when the person in front of you doesn't have his/her seat reclined, it's almost leaning back. And even worse, the leg space--with my legs flat on the floor, knees bent at a ninety degree angle, I couldn't sit. I mean i literally couldn't do it, there wasn't enough space. Next, this flight is CHEAP! As i said, this is all I fly so I'm not sure about other airlines, but you can't get anything to eat or drink for free on the plane, which I think is cheap. Now, all this said, it is the cheapest flight and in this economy, everyone needs the extra money. And, the attendents and pilots are nice, it's easy to book, and again it's the cheapest. If money is the main factor for you, this is the only airline to fly--other than that, there are better airlines.
