Leona Lewis is well known in Europe but her material isn't as famous in the United States. She recently won Britain's version of "American Idol" and her debut album "Spirit" has been topping the charts. With a beautiful voice, often compared to Mariah Carey, Leona doesn't have to try very hard to have an amazing CD!

I love Mariah Carey's older music, and this CD is very reminiscent of that music. "Bleeding Love", Leona's first single, has great vocals, beautiful message and an awesome beat. This song is a great representation of the rest of the album. Other song's that really hit it out of the ballpark for me are "Take a Bow" and "Angel".

The songs on the album are generally up-tempo, catchy Ballads but by no means dance-tracks. I really love driving, or hanging out at home and listening to this CD.
