Spongebob's Halloween By renae on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

There are very few cartoons of today that I would actually sit down and watch as an adult. One of them happens to be Spongebob Squarepants, who makes the top list of cartoons I love the most. It is even more fun when watching the cartoon with my little sisters. For Christmas, they got the Spongebob Squarepants: 5 Spooky Sea Tales the Halloween edition on DVD.

There are ten episodes on the DVD and only two of them were of Halloween episode mainly Scared Pants and Frankendoodle. I guess they don't want to freak out the kids too much with 'scary' episodes. Despite the lack of Halloween episodes, the three of us enjoyed it anyway and seen many of the familiar episodes that were shown on Nickelodeon. To name a few, Idiot Box, where Spongebob and Patrick play around with a magical box that awakens the curiosity of Squidward as he tries to find what they're hiding. Another episode is Squidward the Friendly Ghost (one of my personal favorites) is about Squidward and his life size wax model of himself that accidentally becomes too heated and turns to liquid. Spongebob and Patrick happen to stop by and are horrified at the scary 'last image' of Squidward; he in turn pretends that he became a ghost just to scare the two.

The DVD also has the Scaredy Pants music video and Spongebob's video game sneak peek. This Spongebob Halloween was entertaining to watch from the beginning to the end.
