Sport Aid Neoprene Patella Knee Support By Beth Benson on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

www.americarx.com offers a wide range of orthopedic products and support. This particular knee brace is the worst I have ever tried to use. It was $25 and all I seemed to get was cloth and Velcro. The Neoprene Patella Knee Support only supports the knee cap and not the entire knee. The brace is made out of very light material that has no type of solid support what-so-ever. Instead of a padded support area that is firm around the knee opening, there is just a simple white cloth that is underneath the knee opening. The Velcro straps that help to custom fit tightly, only wrap around the front of the knee leaving a closed lack of support to tighten in the back of the knee.

Two metal rods go up the outsides of the brace for support, however because of the constant bend and activity of the knee, the stitching is easily loosened and cases the rods to work their way out. This can cause a problem because you're loosing your sense of support that this product solely has.

The brace is the hardest to get on and doesn't seem to have even the strongest cloth. Upon pulling the brace on, I heard tearing. The opening was hardly big enough to fit over my kneecap and the lack of support caused the knee cap to easily move.

If you have a serious problem with your knees, I do not suggest this item. It may do you more harm than good.
